Honza is an experienced test automation engineer with over eight years of experience. In the last four years, he has focused on API and integration testing automation in the Česká spořitelna environment. He began his professional career as a manual tester and gradually worked through various industries, including the automotive industry and banking. In addition to testing, he also enjoys developing mobile applications and organizing the Tesena Klikaton competition.

Author of 12 books on programming. Author or co-author of more than 100 professional articles and teaching materials. He is the guarantor of two specialized courses at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, where he focuses on teaching software testing. All of this defines Pavel Herout as an expert in his field. In 1985, he graduated from the University of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in Pilsen with a degree in Electronic Computers. In 1999, he defended his dissertation and earned a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering. Four years later, he completed his habilitation and obtained the title of Associate Professor. His work covers programming languages, software technologies, and, for the past 10 years, primarily software testing. One of his notable contributions to the field of testing is his book Testing for Programmers.
